RANS debuts carbon fiber wing tips

By Janice Wood · June 21, 2011 ·

RANS has introduced carbon fiber wing tips for the S-7S and S-7LS.

The tips are made of hand-laid carbon fiber and weigh in about an eighth pound less per tip over the ABS thermo-formed plastic tips, according to company officials.

The carbon fiber wing tips are offered as standard on the 2012 S-7LS. The wing tips are offered as a kit option for the price of $500 per pair if purchased separately and, if ordered with the kit, $300. RANS part number is KPWI0583-L/R.
