RANS re-releases classic instructional video

By Janice Wood · June 30, 2011 ·

RANS Designs Inc. has re-released its classic instructional video on how to clear coat on Dacron aircraft covering.

Many ultralight aircraft use a per-sewn Dacron sailcloth for covering material. Overexposure to sunlight will diminish the strength of the Dacron. Clear coating with a good quality urethane is highly recommended for both longer life and improved performance, according to company officials.

RANS clear coat video The instructional DVD covers in detail the company’s methods for making “a top-notch finish.”
