Aspen to tweet from AirVenture’s North 40

By Janice Wood · July 19, 2011 ·

Can’t make it to Oshkosh, but still want to be in the know about what’s going on at AirVenture’s North 40? You can follow Aspen Avionics on Twitter.

Officials from Aspen Avionics, which hosts the North 40 Welcome Center, will be tweeting on their observations of what’s happening in the North 40, which, they say, “embodies all that’s good about EAA AirVenture: A multitude of airplanes with their proud owners, fun, food, families, fellowship and near-constant hangar talk.”

Aspen officials say: “We’ll be greeting the mass arrivals, talking to pilots, and serving as a gathering point for the residents of the North 40. And, we’ll be Tweeting about all of it.”

Aspen Avionics also will be issuing North 40 Camping Merit Badges. Stop by the North 40 Welcome Center in person and tell us how you’ve earned your badge, whether you’re camping in the North 40 or simply parking your aircraft there.

Sign up at Twitter.com to follow @aspenavionics during AirVenture—hashtag #n40aspen.
