Seattle writer to sign books about Aerocars

By Janice Wood · July 21, 2011 ·

Seattle aviation writer Jake Schultz will be signing his book, “A Drive in the Clouds – The Story of the Aerocar,” at the Museum of Flight July 23.

Schultz’s book celebrates the passion and dedication of Molt Taylor, the determined designer of a flying automobile named the Aerocar. The book follows Taylor’s project from its concept through full certification, seeing its rising fame as it is featured in more than 500 articles and on television classics such as “I’ve Got a Secret” and “What’s My Line?”

A rare, Taylor Aerocar III is one of the most popular exhibits at The Museum of Flight, according to officials at the Seattle museum. The book signing is free in the museum’s lobby from noon to 4 p.m.
