Redbird Flight Simulations, a manufacturer of flight training devices, has become a corporate member of the IMC Club and sponsor of the IMC Club’s upcoming IMC (“I aM Current”) initiative.
The I aM Current program consists of one challenging approach with emergency practice per month in a Redbird FMX AATD, ensuring IFR currency and increased proficiency for participants. As a part of this mutual cooperation, the IMC Club is also endorsing the Redbird FMX AATD as the official preferred flight simulator of the club, club officials said.
“I couldn’t be happier to have a supporter such as Redbird Flight Simulations for The IMC Club. Besides their superior products, their training devices have become an essential part of modern proficiency training and safety in today’s aviation,” said Radek Wyrzykowski, president of the IMC Clubs.
Redbird Flight Simulations was established in 2006 with the specific purpose of making simulation training more accessible to the general aviation industry. Since its inception Redbird has delivered more than 300 training devices to flight schools, colleges, universities and individual pilots around the world.
“Redbird and the IMC Club seem like a natural fit and our company is looking forward to being a corporate member and supporting the IMC Club’s initiatives to improve safety of general aviation pilots, especially those flying IFR,” said Charlie Gregoire, VP of sales and marketing for Redbird Flight Simulations.
The IMC Club is a membership-based non-profit organization focused on instrument rated pilots and flight instructors, operating through a network of chapters throughout the nation.
