Atlanta hotel offers aviator weekend getaway package

By Janice Wood · August 17, 2011 ·

The Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel is offering airplane enthusiasts the ability to watch planes land at one of the nation’s busiest airports and get as close as possible without stepping onto the tarmac.

The Atlanta airport hotel is offering a front-row experience with nightly room rates starting at $104. The Aviator Package includes: Guest room with balcony overlooking the runways of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), appetizer and soft drinks for two in the Concorde Lounge, and a signature “Aviator Academy Flight Kit,” which includes a runway map and airplane specification guide.

With no official viewing areas and very few places to stop and look at the runway, the Renaissance Concourse Atlanta Airport Hotel’s overlooking balconies and Concorde Bar are one of the few places you can watch planes land at ATL, hotel officials said.

Use promotional code R9H in the Corporate/Promotional box when making an online reservation, or call 800-HOTELS-1 in the U.S. and ask for promotional code R9H for this Atlanta hotel deal. For more information: RenaissanceConcourse.com
