AvFab receives STC for new divan

By Janice Wood · August 17, 2011 ·

Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently received STC approval for its Beechcraft 400A 2-Place Divan. The STC allows for installation in all Beechjet and Hawker Beechcraft 400A series aircraft in addition to the 400 series.

The AvFab 2-Place Divan adds utility to any Beechjet/Hawker Beechcraft 400A by adding capacity and refreshing the look of the cabin, company officials said. The divan is available with the option of close-out panels, and comes with integral shoulder harnesses mounted to the frame.

AvFab also provides inspection, repair and overhaul of corporate aircraft interior parts and components, and is an FAA-PMA manufacturer of custom aircraft seating. AvFab’s sister company, Central Airmotive, is a supplier of Original Equipment Manufacture interior products such as seats, divans, tables, toilets, cabinets and dividers.
