West Star streamlines app

By Janice Wood · August 25, 2011 ·

West Star Aviation has updated its “Experience On Call” app, adding a QR code to make download easier.

In addition to being available to download free from the Apple App store, the “Experience On Call” app can be accessed by scanning the QR code, which will be displayed on West Star Aviation literature.

“Experience On Call” is an app designed to provide direct contact to a directory of professionals at West Star Aviation, whenever assistance is required. After selecting an airframe, the needed service and location, the user is given the option to call or email the contact of choice immediately. In addition, the app is continuously updated with the latest information available, according to company officials.

West Star Aviation specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, windows, and engines, as well as major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, surplus avionics sales, accessory services, paint and parts.

In addition to its facilities in East Alton, Ill; Grand Junction, Colo.; Columbia, S.C.; and Dallas, West Star Aviation runs the maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colo., and at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo. The company also provides complete FBO services at its newly remodeled East Alton and Grand Junction facilities. For more information: WestStarAviation.com or 800-922-2421
