Wicks Aircraft Supply now offers Beyerdynamic’s new HS 800 headsets.
The headsets utilize Digital Adaptive Noise Reduction (DANR). Using a high-speed clocked microprocessor, the HS 800 combines feedback and feedforward-algorhithms in a digitally controlled system, according to company officials.
The HS 800 comes with an audio box and plugs that allow simultaneous connection to intercom, mobile phones and music players. An intercom override establishes priority when receiving transmissions. The ear pods are made of carbon fiber and the headband is made of spring steel that is flexible enough to permit a good fit without feeling like vice grips, company officials note.
