Aircraft Spruce stocks Tempest EPS

By Janice Wood · September 5, 2011 ·

All engines accumulate moisture when they are not run everyday. Moisture will oxidize and create rust in the engine causing potential damage as well as faulty oil analysis. The Tempest Engine Preservation System (EPS) protects the aircraft engine from damage, according to officials with Aircraft Spruce, which now stocks the product.

EPS with Silica The EPS pumps dry air into the engine oil filler cap and removes the moisture already in the engine. The removal of the moisture preserves and protects the engine. Continuous operation will prevent any additional moisture from accumulating, according to company officials. The Tempest EPS is currently available in two models (110v and 220v).

For more information: AircraftSpruce.com or 877-477-7823 and reference part number 08-07192 for the 110v unit and 08-07383 for the 220v unit.
