Windward Aviation expands with new GM

By Janice Wood · September 13, 2011 ·

Windward Aviation, a general aviation maintenance and repair facility in Southern Florida, has a new General Manager, Michael Gillow. Gillow’s addition allows Windward Aviation to expand its maintenance and repair services beyond larger piston twins (Navajo, Cabin-Class Cessna) to turboprops, such as the Cessna Caravan, Pilatus PC12, Beechcraft King Air and Piper Cheyenne.

Prior to joining Windward Aviation, Gillow served as DOM and GM for a number of Part 135 Operations and Repair Stations as a licensed, FAA Airframe & Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization. He is also a pilot with commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings.

Services provided by Windward Aviation for turboprop/twin aircraft include full-scale, electrical and engine troubleshooting and repairs; environmental repairs and pressurization checks; and avionics repairs.

Windward Aviation has provided FAA certified general aircraft maintenance and repair at Palm Beach County Park Airport (LNA) in Lantana, FL, near West Palm Beach, since 1995.
