First Lady of Sun ’n Fun passes away

Sun ’n Fun officials report that Adair Henderson, wife of Billy Henderson, first executive director of Sun ’n Fun has passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer.

“Adair’s support was instrumental from the very beginning and continued for our 37-year history,” officials said. “Her inspiration, planning and care were felt throughout many areas of Sun ’n Fun. Her many contributions will be sorely missed by us all.”

    Adair Henderson was a brilliant and beautiful lady. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
