Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) will be announcing the winner of the second annual Fly a P-51 sweepstakes at the National Business Aviation Association’s 64th Annual Meeting and Convention in Las Vegas. The company is accepting entries until 12 noon PDT on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Launched in July at EAA’s AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the sweepstakes allows qualified participants to submit an entry each day until the sweepstakes closes. The grand prize winner will be announced at the JSSI booth (C8920) at 3:30 PDT on Tuesday by last year’s winner, Eric Russell, Chief Pilot for Rainbow Sandals flight department in California.
The grand prize of an orientation flight in a dual-controlled P-51 Mustang aircraft through the Stallion 51 Corp. in Kissimmee, Florida, will be awarded to one lucky participant and includes round trip airfare to Florida and accommodations for two. Stallion 51 is FAA certified and is the world’s premier P-51 Mustang flight operation. Stallion 51 is also home to CRAZY HORSE and CRAZY HORSE², both dual-cockpit, dual-control TF-51 Mustangs.
Contestants from the contiguous United States may enter the sweepstakes at the JSSI exhibit in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center #8920 or online. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from qualified entries after the closing of the sweepstakes on Oct. 11.
