Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2) is on the move to new facilities. At the end of October it will start its relocation from a mid-field complex to new facilities in the North End Business Aviation Section of the Lester B Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
The move is to be completed by Monday Oct. 31.
MC2 offices will be closed on Friday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 29. AOG services will still be available.
Bill Arsenault, VP and lead of the MC2 team, says “We have been in business here in Toronto since 1997. Over the years we have grown steadily building a skilled, dedicated team to service clients. Regardless of where we call ‘home,’ we always seem to have the offices and shop at one end of the airport and our people spread around working in other locations. When the opportunity to gain enough office, technical support and hangar space in the same place came up, we decided to make the move. This allows us to combine our sales, service, design, fabrication, installation and repair teams all under the same roof. The saving from travel time around the airport will make a significant change to the quality of life for our team and enable us to become even more responsive to client needs.”
Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2) provides avionics sales, services, repair, design and certification. In addition to ongoing service and support work for avionics clients, the firm has specialized most recently in cabin entertainment and communication systems, including the latest satcom and Wi-Fi applications, and cockpit redesign/modernization that includes WAAS, TCAS, EGPWS, TAWS, RVSM and EFB applications.
