New iPad Kneeboard debuts

By Janice Wood · October 13, 2011 ·

ASA has introduced a portfolio-style iPad kneeboard for pilots.

ASA’s new iPad Kneeboard has an elastic strap that secures the binderlike case to a pilot’s leg for in-flight use and is removable for everyday use. The inside sleeve holds the iPad securely on the right side with full access to iPad controls and buttons. The left side has pockets to store documents and provides a writing surface, according to company officials. The cover folds into a flap to serve as a vertical or horizontal desktop stand, providing landscape viewing and full keyboard access.

Price: $59.95.
