Avfuel collaborates on new FBO at BHX

By Janice Wood · October 24, 2011 ·

Avfuel and Eurojet Aviation, which recently announced that Avfuel would brand Eurojet Aviation, the locally based FBO at the George Best Belfast City Airport (EGAC/BHD), are collaborating on fuel, sales and marketing for Eurojet’s newest planned FBO location at Birmingham Airport (EGBB/BHX). The airport, located to the north west of London, is expected to play a pivotal role in the support and service of business jets for the upcoming 2012 Olympics.

Eurojet’s new service center and FBO at the Birmingham airport is slated to become operational in January 2012. The 41,0000-square-foot complex will include a maintenance facility; hangarage; a full service FBO; and a commercial center and aircraft sales suite.

“Avfuel is delighted to further develop our relationship with Eurojet as they prepare to open the Birmingham location, especially during such an exciting time as the Olympics,” said Avfuel Vice President of Supply and Business Development Owen Busch. “We look forward to the grand opening of the Birmingham location and to supporting Eurojet as they continue to expand their general and business aviation portfolios.”

“We are committed to offering the most comprehensive and highest quality service to clients – expanding our affiliation with Avfuel assists us in sustaining that commitment,” said Eurojet Managing Director Graeme Campbell. “As a result, we now have a greatly enhanced fuel supply offering, together with a range of new services for clients. In this way, we ensure that clients coming to our new Birmingham facility can expect to receive the very highest standards of service available in the European marketplace. We look forward to continuing with our plans to work with Avfuel on future projects. ”
