PilotMall.com has added three new payment methods. The online pilot shop already accepts major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, and now offers checkout options with PayPal, Amazon and Google Checkout.
PilotMall.com is the first online aviation supply website to offer these options, according to company officials.
Customers with a Google Checkout, PayPal or Amazon account can fill up their shopping cart, and, choosing among the options, log in to their favorite payment source and complete the transaction with their existing account information.
Amazon, Google Checkout and PayPal are secure payment information storage sites (also called virtual credit cards) that store a customer’s payment information — credit cards, debit cards or bank checking accounts — making online transactions safer than using credit cards alone. These services also incorporate a number of customized options at the click of a button, maximizing customer convenience, PilotMall officials note.
“We are always trying to offer our customers better service and convenience,” said PilotMall.com President Neil Glazer. “By adding these new payment methods for our customers, we are achieving that goal.”
Customers no longer need to add their payment information each time they make a transaction. Using the abovementioned services allows customers to make multiple purchases without having to type in credit or debit card information each time.
“Internet security is an increasing concern for us and our customers,” said Glazer. “Providing additional payment options answers customers’ needs for security and ease of use.”
Although credit cards have safeguards in place, services like PayPal, Google Checkout and Amazon appeal to those customers who are a bit wary about making online purchases, he noted. These new options allow customers to purchase items from PilotMall.com safely and securely, as well as adding convenience. PilotMall.com also uses Comodo.com’s SSL Digital Certificate, which encrypts all payment information during transactions.
