Wicks Aircraft offers Stewart Systems paint

By Janice Wood · October 26, 2011 ·

Wicks Aircraft Supply now offers the new water-based paint developed by Stewart Systems for GA aircraft and homebuilts.

Stewart products will adhere to metal, wood, composites, fabric and plastic surfaces, providing a high gloss finish that is flexible, corrosion resistant, and free of any volatile organic compounds.

“We recognized that Stewart has taken a major step forward in developing a type of paint that is environment friendly and poses no risks to the user’s health,” said Scott Wick, President of Wicks Aircraft. “We can offer a wide range of the most popular colors that will cover any aircraft surface and it can be shipped without special handling for hazardous materials.”

Stewart has a large group of products that continues to expand and includes Eko Etch, Eko Clean, Eko Prime, Eko Coat, Eko Poly and Eko Shield. The polyurethane is a two-part coating that produces deep color and the Eko Shield is a clear coat that protects the polyurethane and gives the product its unique wet look.
