Richmond Jet Center joins Shell FBO network

By Janice Wood · November 2, 2011 ·

Richmond Jet Center at Virginia’s Richmond International Airport (RIC) has joined the Shell FBO network.

Richmond Jet Center, which offers catering, flight planning, and heated hangars, is a Cessna Service Center and FAA Certified Repair Station offering airframe, engine and propeller maintenance, avionics sales, and charter.

By joining the Shell FBO Network, which has more than 400 FBOs, Richmond Jet Center can take advantage of some of the many FBO programs offered through Eastern Aviation Fuels, including the Shell AeroClass and Contract Fuel programs, according to company officials.

Richmond Jet Center is a family owned and operated company, founded by John and Helen Clarke in 1946. Today their two sons Jon and Robert Clarke co-own the business, with both of their sons actively involved. In addition to offering fuel services, Richmond Jet Center offers aircraft interiors, composites, and much more. The facility features a pilot’s lounge, flight planning area, two conference rooms, crew cars, and rental car availability.
