Pacific Coast Avionic launches upgrade options

By Janice Wood · November 27, 2011 ·

Pacific Coast Avionics Corporation has announced two new upgrade paths for customers to get the latest in handheld GPS and ANR headset technology. With these new upgrade options, any Pacific Coast Avionics customer can get the latest in ANR headset and handheld GPS technology by trading their Bose X or Lightspeed Zulu towards the purchase of various new electronic noise cancelling headsets; or, for handheld GPS customers, by trading various models of Garmin portable GPS toward any of the new AERA series of Garmin handheld GPS.

Under the new ANR headset upgrade program, when a customer purchases a new Bose A-20, Lightspeed Zulu.2, or Sennheiser S-1 from Pacific Coast Avionics, they can trade their original battery powered Bose X and get a $400 trade-in credit, or trade their original battery powered Lightspeed Zulu and get a $375 trade-in credit. The only trade-in value qualification is that the trade-in headsets must be in good operating and physical condition, and must include the headset case and original accessories.

Under the Garmin GPS upgrade program, when a customer purchases a new aera-500, aera-510, aera-550, or aera-560, GPSMAP-695 or GPSMAP-696, or aera-795 or aera-796 from Pacific Coast Avionics, they can trade in their old Garmin handheld GPS for credit. Most of the more recent models of Garmin handheld GPS’s are eligible for trade-in and the value will vary depending on model, condition, and original accessories returned, according to company officials.
