Spider S3 Lite debuts

By Janice Wood · December 5, 2011 ·

Spidertracks is launching a new product line this holiday season, the Spider S3 Lite, specifically designed for recreational pilots.

It offers competitive pricing plans from $10 a month and continued support from the spidertracks support team, with the first three months free of charge, according to company officials.

“We’ve been listening to our customers and there’s been a big response from our recreational pilots. They’re calling for a more affordable tracking system that still offers the reliability and accuracy of our more commercial Spiders,” says James McCarthy, operations manager. “Our customers asked for a price competitive satellite tracking system and with the Spider S3 Lite, that’s what we’re giving them.”

The S3 Lite, which sells for $495, enables pilots and their families the ability to track any aircraft in real-time, providing them the whereabouts of their aircraft at all times, wherever it is in the world.
