Connecticut museum Toys for Tots collection a success

The Connecticut Air & Space Center’s second annual toy collection for Toys for Tots was a rousing success, officials said. Working with the Bridgeport Marine Corp League, the airport community in and around Sikorsky Memorial Airport wanted to make sure that there were many smiling faces this Christmas. Stanziale’s Restaurant hosted the collection site in the lobby with more than six large boxes of toys donated. (See photo below).

The Connecticut Air & Space Center, a non-profit charity promoting the aviation achievements in Connecticut, was founded in 1998 and currently the occupies buildings 6 and 53 at the former Stratford Army Engine Plant complex.
