By Janice Wood · December 21, 2011 ·

Piper Aircraft named aircraft customer support executive Wes Norris as Director of Aftermarket Business. Norris joins Piper after a 31-year career at Hawker Beechcraft Corp. and leads Piper’s aftermarket business development office in Vero Beach, Fla., working with customers and dealers throughout the world.

“Norris’ mission is to provide a high level of support to the dealer network in order to maximize the value proposition for the complete line of Piper products,” said Piper Head of Sales Administration and Customer Support Lisa Giessert. Before joining Piper, he was director of customer experience for Hawker Beechcraft’s completion center in Little Rock, Ark.

Among his past roles were director of new product development, senior manager of authorized service centers/warranty and manager of Arkansas assembly modification center. Norris is a pilot with 1,200 flight hours along with an instrument rating. He earned his master’s in business management along with a bachelor’s in economics from Friends University. He has also studied program management, supply chain management and is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt.
