Landmark Aviation has opened its FBO at Oakland International Airport. Landmark’s FBO at OAK is its first in the San Francisco Bay Area and the 12th location added to the network in 2011.
The FBO is centrally located at OAK’s North Field in the Hangar 5 facility. Landmark has initiated a multi-million dollar renovation project, having already upgraded the FBO terminal along with beginning hangar and property improvements, according to company officials.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to invest at Oakland International,” said Dan Bucaro, President & CEO. “Landmark believes that OAK is well positioned to attract additional corporate aviation traffic in the Bay Area and looks forward to working with the Port of Oakland to execute the strategic plan we have developed together.”
Landmark’s FBO at OAK will participate in the company’s proprietary program, “Landmark Cares.” Supported by a number of Landmark’s locations around the country, “Landmark Cares” is a community-based program focused on supporting local charitable groups. For every gallon of fuel sold, Landmark will make a donation to local non-profit and charitable organizations.
“We are pleased to welcome Landmark Aviation to Oakland International Airport,” said Deborah Ale Flint, Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland. “Landmark’s vision to grow our market, their keen sense of social responsibility and their track record at comparable airports around the country make them a natural fit for OAK. We look forward to many years of great corporate aviation services from our newest FBO,” she continued.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Landmark Aviation operates a network of FBOs located throughout the U.S., and in Canada and Western Europe. The company offers a wide range of services, including FBO, MRO, charter and management. For more information: LandmarkAviation.com
