64 years and counting…

By Janice Wood · January 4, 2012 ·

When Charles Stockton was unpacking Christmas decorations, he discovered a copy of General Aviation News he picked up 15 years ago while traveling though Seattle.

He and his lifelong friend who was dying of cancer were on a whirlwind one-year tour of the country and Boeing was on the list to see. While in Seattle, he picked up a copy of General Aviation News. When he called, he asked, “Are you still publishing? I would like to subscribe. I figured you would still be around since this 15-year-old paper says you were in your 49th year.”

Yes Charles, we are still here, now in our 64th year. Welcome to the General Aviation News family, we look forward to providing you up-to-the-minute factual details about all aspects of general aviation.
