TMA Group partners with Avfuel

By Janice Wood · January 15, 2012 ·

TMA Group, the FBO at Cambridge Municipal Airport (CSB) in Nebraska, has joined the Avfuel network of branded FBOs.

TMA assumed management of the FBO in 2009 and immediately began implanting improvements, including refurbishing the pilot’s lounge, adding A&P services, and outfitting the facility with free Wi-Fi throughout, according to company officials.

Ramp and taxiway upgrades are currently underway, and future plans include the addition of JetA fuel, the acquisition of a new fuel truck and a ground power unit, and implanting an automated weather observing system (AWOS). TMA considers the partnership with Avfuel to be in line with the vision for the FBO, company officials said.

“Most of our management staff are pilots, and as pilots, have preferred to use Avfuel-branded FBOs for a variety of reasons,” said Vice President of TMA Donny Sailors. “We have always felt that Avfuel provides a quality product at a fair price. It was a natural fit for KCSB.” Price wasn’t the only factor in the decision, Sailors added. “We appreciate the marketing support we receive from Avfuel and look forward to being listed as an Avfuel dealer.”
