The 2012 Midwest Regional Aircraft Maintenance Symposium and Trade Show will be held Feb. 17- 18 at the Airport Holiday Inn in Des Moines. The two-day event provides a refresher on aviation maintenance topics and allows attendees to meet first hand with a wide range of aviation vendors.
It is open to all IAs, A&Ps, students, pilots, or anyone with an interest in learning more about aircraft maintenance.
The event is sponsored by the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) in conjunction with the Iowa DOT Office of Aviation and FAA Flight Standards District Office 61.
More information is available on the Iowa PAMA website.

I mean no disrespect to the people of DesMoines, and I’m sure it was chosen for geographical practicality, but could this be a factor in GA’s declining interest? Would a more interesting/exciting venue be considered?
