Florida’s Destin Jet is planning a birthday celebration for completing three successful years of operation. Destin Jet will celebrate with a customer appreciation luncheon April 27. All customers, friends and prospects are welcome, officials said.
The event will feature food and beverages throughout the day. “In the evening we will host, along with Motorfest Magazine, the First Annual Destin Air-Sea and Auto Show,” said Bill Blackford, general manager. “All proceeds from the show will go to The Wounded Warriors Project.
“We have exceeded our plans and targets for our first three years,” Blackford continued. “Our excellent staff has allowed us to reach many lofty achievements. We have filled our hangars; gained a significant market share; and received consistent, positive feedback from our customers on our commitment to quality service. Further, we have been voted in the top 50 of all US FBO’s in FltPlan.com’s annual pilot survey each year since we opened, which indicates the company is providing value to our clients. In addition we have earned the designation of ‘Preferred Provider’ for three of the four major fractional programs.”
Destin Jet is a full-service FBO at Destin Executive Airport (DTS), which opened in April 2009 with an all-new — and privately funded — $7 million facility featuring a 6,000-square-foot terminal, and 10 storage hangars. It offers a range of pilot and guest amenities including complimentary gourmet coffee, fresh popped popcorn and home baked cookies, in addition to free high-speed internet access throughout and both Hertz and Thrifty rental cars on site.
