Becker Avionics hosted its first annual skeet shooting event with customers and friends at the Elm Fork Shooting Sports Club in Dallas during the Heli-Expo conference earlier this month.
About a dozen folks from Trace International, VIH Helicopters, Air Methods Corporation, and Axnes Aviation from Norway participated in the event. The event included a Texas BBQ lunch, shotgun safety and firearm handling instructions, and shooting clay pigeons from eight different sporting clay stations. John Douglas, President of Trace Corporation, won first place and Arne Arneson, General Manager of VIH Aerospace Inc, won second place.
Brett Gardner, Director of Sales and Marketing stated, “Our skeet shooting event at Elm Fork Shooting Sports was a blast…literally. Fun was had by all — we look forward to next year’s skeet shoot at Heli-Expo.”
