FlightSafety’s new Cessna Maintenance Training Center in Wichita is scheduled to open this summer. The new purpose-built 65,000-square-foot facility will feature advanced technology equipped classrooms, hands-on aircraft component training areas, including a hangar that can accommodate up to six Cessna aircraft. A ramp leading from the runway to the new center will provide direct access to aircraft for training purposes. The MX Advantage maintenance training program, developed in conjunction with Cessna, will compliment and reinforce training received in the classroom by providing hands-on training on Citation aircraft and advanced training devices, company officials said.
