PAMA teams with JSfirm for job postings

By Janice Wood · March 22, 2012 ·

The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) and JSfirm.com have launched a new job section, PAMA Job Postings, on the PAMA website.

“PAMA now has the most up-to-date aviation maintenance and avionics jobs available for their members,” said JSfirm Manager Jeff Richards. “This live, searchable, jobs board is available to all visitors at PAMA.org/Jobs/All.”

“Our partnership with PAMA is an obvious choice,” he continued. “They are a great organization and a leading resource for aviation technicians. We’re excited to provide this unique service for their users.”

How does it work?  “When a hiring aviation company advertises an avionics or maintenance job on JSfirm.com, it is synched with the jobs board on PAMA.org.  It’s great for PAMA members and it impacts the 4,000-plus aviation companies that post their jobs on JSfirm.com by doubling or even tripling their exposure to qualified aviation maintenance professionals,” Richards explained.

JSfirm.com is a free service to job seekers.  The company’s website includes access to job postings, direct email of new employment opportunities, free resume builder and networking tools.  Companies receive direct access to resumes, management tools, and unlimited job postings with multiple user capabilities and a dedicated Account Manager to help plan a company’s candidate search program, officials explained.

The purpose of PAMA, the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association, is to promote a high degree of professionalism among aviation maintenance personnel, while improving methods, skills, learning, and achievement in the field of aviation maintenance. In addition to conducting national, state and local meetings and seminars, PAMA’s ongoing activities include fostering communications, recognizing excellence and collaborating with governmental and other organizations to enhance the safety and stature of the maintenance profession.
