OSHKOSH — The camera company GoPro is a new sponsor for this week’s AirVenture. Named the “officials wearable camera” of the airshow, GoPro will produce daily overview videos highlighting AirVenture’s performances, including concerts, movies and more. Attendees also will get a chance to witness first hand different aircraft from an onboard perspective as GoPro’s HD HERO2 cameras will be mounted on a variety of historic and modern aircraft during the week-long show.
“With more than 10,000 aircraft on site for the event, the energy and excitement of AirVenture makes it the perfect arena for GoPro’s entry into the world of aviation,” said Paul Crandell, Vice President of Brand Marketing for GoPro. “We look forward to meeting like-minded enthusiasts, and demonstrating how GoPro can capture people’s amazing flight experiences and make it easier to relive and share these exhilarating experiences.”
