Lindsay Locke of Fortuna, California, who has been flying since she was 12 years old, received her private pilot certificate on her 17th birthday last July, and she is currently building an RV-4 with her dad. And now, at just 18, she’s been named president of EAA Chapter 1418, making her the youngest chapter president in EAA’s 59-year history, according to a report at EAA.org
