OSHKOSH — BRP-Powertrain GmbH & Co KG, the Austrian company that produces the Rotax engine, signed a long-term contract at last week’s AirVenture with TL elektronic of the Czech Republic to supply its glass cockpit Engine Monitoring System for the new Rotax 912 iS engine.
The monitoring system will be distributed via the Rotax Aircraft Engine distributor network under the brand name Rotax Integra, according to TL elektronic officials.
“This is the next stage of long-term business cooperation between our companies, which started all the way back in 2002,” said Martin Balda, commercial director. “The initial project was the Flydat instrument, which has become one of the most successful instrumentation system worldwide.”
