SportairUSA names new avionics manager

SportairUSA, the central Arkansas FAA Part 145 Repair Station and distributor of sport aircraft, has appointed Monty Crawford avionics manager.

“We are happy to welcome Monty to the SportairUSA family,” said Bill Canino, CEO of the company. “He brings a 35 years of experience in installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of avionics and related systems in both business and recreational aircraft.”

Crawford will perform and supervise installations, upgrades and repairs of avionics, radios, instruments, autopilots and related airframe modifications. He began his aviation career at Ozark Avionics and has performed installation, supervision and inspection services for Hawker Beechcraft, Bell Helicopter, Bizjet International, Bombardier and others.

SportairUSA has been in operation since 1990 at the North Little Rock Municipal Airport, providing hangar space, aircraft maintenance and repairs, airplane sales and brokerage.
