The 8th annual Open House and Fly-In by Greg Koontz Airshows will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at Dugger Field Airport (AL60) in Ashville, Ala.
“Every plane nut, neighbor and friend is invited,” the flyer says, noting there is a $10 registration fee requested for all adult participants. Organizers say “please don’t be offended by the fee,” explaining that last year more than 40 people went though the food line without chipping in.
Food will be served at noon, with aerobatics scheduled at 1 p.m., a bomb drop contest at 2 p.m.; kid’s rides thereafter.
