New England Air Museum to host quilt show

WINDSOR LOCKS, CONN. — The New England Air Museum is hosting a quilt show, “Things with Wings: Airplanes and Quilts,” Sept. 17-23.

This non-juried show gives museum visitors an opportunity to view approximately 200 quilts among the museum’s collection of more than 80 aircraft.

Included will be special exhibits of World War II-era quilts as well as quilts with the theme “Things with Wings.” Guest lecturers and vendors will be featured on Sept. 22-23. The exhibit is included with price of admission on day of visit.
