Channel named AeroWorx VP

By Janice Wood · September 19, 2012 ·

TORRANCE, Calif. — AeroWorx, a provider for repair and overhaul services, has named Ken Channel Vice President of Business Development.

Channel’s new position is to oversee the sales and marketing efforts at AeroWorx. Additionally, he will be responsible for supervising the company’s customer service department.

“His past experience in maintenance, engineering and marketing will prove to be a valuable advantage in his pursuit of new business relations,” said Gary Furlong, president. “In 2008, Mr. Channel worked for Aero Pneudraulics as the vice president of sales and marketing, so we are very pleased to have him to return to our company under the new name and with his new title. ”

His previous experience in the aviation industry started in the 1980s when he served as a base maintenance engineer at Continental Airlines. He then worked at Douglas Aircraft Company as a senior engineer, where he provided support on the DC10 and MD-11 aircraft. When Douglas was bought out by Boeing, his position changed too. He then became the production manager where he was responsible for managing and tracking status on jobs and maintaining an efficient production and operation of aircraft repairs and manufacturing. In his most recent position, he was the director of sales at North American Aircraft Services.

AeroWorx was founded in 1998 under the name Aero Pneudraulics. For more information: 310-890-0300, Aero-Worx.com
