Piper, ATP reach agreement for future maintenance data

By Janice Wood · September 20, 2012 ·

Beginning Dec. 5, access to all Piper Aircraft maintenance publications and regulatory documents will be available exclusively through Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) Aviation Hub Online Service and ATP’s NavigatorV Desktop Platform.

Until that time, Piper customers can access Piper’s manuals and technical publications through Avantext, Inc., which will continue to serve as Piper’s exclusive distributor of all Piper maintenance publications and regulatory documents until December 4, 2012, according to Piper officials.

“With ATP, Piper maintenance professionals will have access to all of our maintenance publications and the necessary regulatory documents,” said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott. “ATP Aviation Hub subscribers can have immediate, online access to technical publications and Airworthiness Directives. NavigatorV desktop platform users also can quickly and efficiently download and install new libraries within minutes of purchase.”

“Going forward, ATP is pleased to partner with Piper Aircraft to provide these cloud-based services to the thousands of Piper owners, operators and maintainers around the world,” said ATP President Rich Marino. “Subscribers will have access to all their pubs through one complete service and always know they are current and ready for the next inspection.”
