Belfort Instrument Co., a meteorological sensor and meteorological system manufacturer, has installed its AWOS AV at the Deer Lodge City-County Airport (38S), in Deer Lodge, Montana.
The Belfort Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS AV) provides pilots with Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Wind Gusts, Temperature, Humidity, Dewpoint, Altimeter Setting, Density Altitude, and Visibility. The Airport AWOS information is accessible via the airport Unicom and over the internet at Digiwx-38S.com.
“The State of Montana continues to be a strong advocate for the Belfort AWOS AV. The Deer Lodge Airport is the 15th AWOS installation in the state,” said Ralph Petragnani of Belfort instrument Co. ”Deer Lodge City-County Airport, in particular, has proven its commitment to safer flight operations by installing the AWOS.”
