The 28 volt, 60 amp alternator, part number 9910591-11AC, is a collaborative effort from Tempest and Aerospace Components, the designers and manufacturers of the Tempest PowerFlite starter.
This is a direct replacement alternator available for late model Cessna aircraft, according to company officials.
The FAA/PMA certified alternator fits Cessna 172R, 172S, 182S, 182T and T182T aircraft.
Retail price is $1,010, plus a $150 core charge.
