The Washington Seaplane Pilots Association (WSPA) will hold its annual Grounded Hogs Dinner Feb. 22.
“It’s going to be a fantastic event, and by all measure it will be the best ever,” noted Gary Engard of the WSPA board, noting that the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association is once again co-sponsor of the dinner, which is also the association’s annual member meeting..
Speaker will be Richard Wien of the famous Wien family and WienAir of Alaska.
The dinner will be held at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, overlooking Boeing Field’s runways. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., with the dinner at 7 p.m.
Engard warns that seating is limited, and advises those interested in attending to get their tickets soon. “Last year we filled the room and this year looks to be the same,” he said.
