Electroair adds Piper twins to growing stable of aircraft

By Ben Sclair · January 24, 2013 ·

HOWELL, Mich. – Electroair has added the Piper Seminole, Twin Comanche and Apache to the Approved Model List (AML) for the Electroair Electronic Ignition System.

Zeke Valtz of Horizon Aviation allowed Electroair the use of his Twin Comanche for the flight testing required to complete this approval, Electroair officials report.

The four cylinder kits are $3,400 and contain all appropriate parts for a typical installation on a Piper (standard- or counter-rotating) light twin, including longer length wire harnesses and placarding, company officials add.

Electroair officials note customers are reporting fuels savings between 12-16%.
