Janitrol, Southwind heater AD relief from C&D Associates

By Ben Sclair · February 5, 2013 ·

BUCHANAN, Mich. – Owners of aircraft with Janitrol or South Wind heaters have long had to comply with an airworthiness directive (A.D.) to repeatedly test for heater pressure decay. No longer.

The FAA has authorized C&D Associates to overhaul original Janitrol or South Wind heaters with the end result being an aircraft heater free from A.D. compliance. C&D Associates can overhaul a heater to meet the standard at a cost close to the purchase price of the combustion tube itself.

Most overhauls take 5-7 days. Contact C&D Associates at 269-695-7469 for more information or a quote.
