How do you throw a great party in aviation and make it possible for wounded veterans and other people with disabilities to become pilots? Just mix inspiring new pilots with music and food and have the party at Fantasy of Flight near Orlando on Saturday, April 20.
It’s a night to celebrate aviation’s good news story while surrounded by an amazing collection of rare aircraft, say Able Flight officials.
“Able Flight pilots and other special guests will be there, and with music by the Paul Thorn Band, this will be a night to remember,” said Able Flight’s Charles Stites. “It will be both a celebration of success, and an opportunity to grow the scholarship fund so that we can bring even more people into aviation. ”
With the support of Sennheiser, Embraer and Signature Flight Support, all expenses for the party are covered, so all proceeds from donations go directly to the Able Flight Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are used to fund flight and aviation career training for those who are disabled.
Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis for a $500 tax deductible donation to the scholarship fund.

Congratulations to Charles and the group at Able Flight. I wish we could join in on the celebration on April 20th, but we’ll be heading over to the Aero Friedrichschaufen event that day. Our donation will come in the mail.
