Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics named Trig Avionics service center

By General Aviation News Staff · April 3, 2013 ·

WICHITA — Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics has been named the exclusive U.S. Service Center for Trig Avionics, serving Trig customers in all of North America.

The agreement further expands Mid-Continent’s avionics capabilities to include Trigs’ TT21, TT22, and TT31 transponders, TY91 and TY92 VHF Comm radios. Trig Avionics, located in Edinburgh, Scotland, joins a network of avionics and equipment manufacturers, such as Kannad, Honeywell Bendix/King and United Instruments, who have selected Mid-Continent to service their products.

Andy Campbell, Trig Avionics field support engineer, has conducted product training at Mid-Continent’s facility. The training process consisted of classroom instruction and hands-on training in the areas of test, teardown, rebuild and fault diagnosis.

“I am delighted that Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics is now operating as Trig’s exclusive U.S. Service Center. The professionalism and technical abilities of the Mid-Continent team are impressive. We are perfectly aligned in our commitment to provide first-class service to our customers,” stated Trig Avionics CEO Andy Davis. “Following extensive technical training, the Mid-Continent team is ready to provide full repair services to Trig customers through our network of 75 Approved Trig Dealers in the U.S.”
