The New Hampshire Aviation Historical Society (NHAHS) will honor the lifetime aviation contributions of James Tamposi, Sr. of Nashua at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire on Saturday, June 29, at 11 am.
Tamposi was founder and owner/operator of Nashua Aviation and Supply and also an incorporator of Daniel Webster College. Influencing numerous generations of aviation industry leaders, his life-long efforts have advanced the field of aviation throughout New Hampshire, according to officials.
In recognition of Tamposi’s lifetime contribution to New Hampshire aviation education, NHAHS Board Member Tom Haas has issued a challenge to match dollar-for-dollar all contributions, up to $10,000, made to the historical society on behalf of James Tamposi, Sr., with proceeds to be used for ongoing aviation education programs at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire.
