By General Aviation News Staff · July 9, 2013 ·

VISTA, Calif. — Sandel Avionics has received the 2013 Innovation Award from the San Diego Business Journal in the Technology category.

The Innovation Awards were created to honor and acknowledge the people and organizations that continue to stretch boundaries and to recognize those individuals and companies who demonstrate how the innovative spirit drives economic value.

“Sandel is dedicated to improving the safety of aircraft worldwide,” said Gerry Block, Sandel President and CEO. “It’s an honor to be recognized by an organization like SDBJ.”

Sandel Avionics engineers and manufactures avionics for rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft and provides embedded software for OEM applications.
