NARA appoints Prewitt to board of directors

By General Aviation News Staff · July 11, 2013 ·

The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) has appointed Sabrina M. Prewitt to the board of directors.

Daughter of founding NARA member Jack Prewitt, Sabrina Prewitt brings more than 30 years of business aircraft transaction experience to the NARA board, according to NARA officials.

sabrinawebphotoSabrina has been elected to fill the recently vacated board member seat of Ben Murray and will hold the position for the remaining 2013/2014 term.

“We value Sabrina’s wealth of experience and all the talent she brings to the NARA board,” stated Brad Harris, chairman of the NARA Board of Directors. “I am excited to be working closely with her to carry out our NARA mission of making this a premier organization that is recognized for its professional ethics and upholding the highest standards among the aircraft dealer/broker network.”

As Senior Vice President at Jack Prewitt & Associates, Inc., Sabrina was born into the aviation industry. She spent countless hours as a young girl with her father, Jack Prewitt, at the local airports, radio shops and completion centers.  After her formal education, Sabrina came to work with the family business and has worked side by side her father in all aspects of corporate aircraft sales.

Today her focus has been primarily on the administrative and operational side of the business. Most recently, she oversaw the construction of the company’s new corporate headquarters, Aviation Place in Colleyville, Texas.

NARA is a professional trade association comprised of selected aircraft sales and brokerage businesses and aircraft support/services companies. Promoting the growth and public understanding of the aircraft resale industry, NARA’s members abide by a 14-point Code of Ethics that provides standards of business conduct regarding aircraft transactions.
