FBO opens new terminal at PVD

Northstar Aviation at T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Providence, R.I.,  recently opened its new executive terminal.

northstar 1The full-service FBO, part of the Avfuel network, sports a lounge as well as access to showers, laundry facilities and a gym. Fully equipped conference rooms are available at no charge.

Plane-side catering, onsite rental cars, transportation, accommodation arrangements and more also are available.

US Customs facilities are available by appointment.

    based on the airnav comments looks like they will have to up their gamne as well as have new facillities.

    the local fees are ridiculous
    i especially dislike the 5$ if your plane is not registered in ri fee

    last time i wanted to go to vicinity they would not waive any fees for just dropping off pax. used one of the many nearby ( it is ri) no fee airports that do welcome transient pilots.

    fbo’s need to do everything possible to welcome pilots if they expect ga to survive at their airtport.
